Every educator wants their students to reach their goals—whether that means getting a job, earning a promotion, or building the confidence to advance in their careers. This session explores how Essential Education equips teachers to make that possible through its Work Essentials program.
Participants will learn practical strategies for integrating work-ready skills into daily instruction using lessons, activities, and real-world applications that fit any classroom setting. Through discussion, visuals, and guides, we’ll demonstrate how to teach employability skills alongside academic content, helping students connect what they’re learning to the workplace. Educators will also have the opportunity to share ideas, hear best practices from peers, and leave with actionable ways to prepare students for success beyond the classroom.
What you’ll learn:
Explore how Essential Education courses provide effective work-ready skill development.
Review how to incorporate Work Essentials into your classroom.
Collaborate with other Essential Education users on their implementation processes.
Learn where to find support and resources.
Participants who complete the full session will receive a Certificate of Attendance for one hour of Professional Development.
